My past was sadness and struggle. Growing up, I never really had a stable home life. My mom and father were constantly fighting, and eventually, they divorced when I was just a adolescent. I was compelled to bounce around between different relatives’ houses, never really feeling like I belonged.

Even though the challenges I faced, I always found comfort in video games. They provided me with an escape from the mayhem of my real life and allowed me to get lost in virtual worlds. I spent many hours playing games, becoming more and more skilled as time went on.

Then, one day, something revolutionized my life forever. I was engaging in a game online with a handful of friends when I was suddenly lost connection from the server. At first, I believed it was just a glitch, but as it turned out, my internet service had been disconnected due to an outstanding bill that my mom and dad had neglected to pay.

I was heartbroken. How to manage to play my favorite games without any internet? Yet, rather than wallow in self-pity, I made the decision to take matters into my own hands. I started saving up my allowance and doing freelance work for neighbors in order to pay for my own internet service. It wasn’t easy, but ultimately, I was able to get back online and resume playing the games that I loved.

As to develop my skills and investigate new games, I realized that I had a authentic passion for video gaming. I made the decision to begin a blog to share my experiences and insights with others who were also passionate about gaming. It was a small at first, but as I gained followers, my blog started.
